The Floating Pool Lady

Had the day off today and went to explore this floating barge pool on the East River next to the Promenade.

Think along the lines of the Long Island City beach taxi beach, but bigger and a huge Olympic size pool built into a barge floating on the East River.There are food/drinks available at the beach, but the pool barge 'S.S. Floating Pool Lady" is the place to be. Fortunately, it is filled with fresh heavily chlorinated water not East River water.
